Chisago Lakes Boys The Wildcats avenged an earlier loss on the season when they topped Spring Lake Park 59-55 on Friday, Feb. 15. However, they dropped two conference games, one to St. Louis Park 71-52 and one to St. Francis 69-47. The ‘Cats are still trying to find some sort of consistency, as they have now split with three different North Suburban Conference teams.
North Branch Boys The Vikings hosted Fridley on Friday, Feb. 15 and dropped the conference match up 63-48. The game was close at halftime before the Tigers took over in the second half. But, North Branch got their first win since January 4 with a 69-59 victory over Hibbing on Saturday, Feb. 16.
Chisago Lakes Girls The Wildcats won three more games in a week and look to close their season on an eight game win streak. They beat St. Louis Park by 27 points, then avenged an early season loss to Spring Lake Park with a 68-56 victory. They capped their three-win week off with a 27 point win over St. Francis.
North Branch Girls The Lady Vikes won three straight, earning big victories over Princeton and Fridley before scraping out a 48-44 victory over Irondale in their penultimate regular season game. They also got Sarah Lekson back from an ankle injury just in time for sections.
