Law Enforcement
Lakes Area Police had three calls related to an “overly friendly” goose in the Chisago City area.  It started when staff at the Primary School (neighborhood of 284th) captured the goose Aug.1 and had it in a box.  The officer advised that the goose should be let-go if it wasn’t injured or ill as the DNR discourages contact with wild creatures. Two more calls came in two days later complaining the goose was “attacking” people, this time in the area of 253rd.  No further contact was made since.
