Janet was born on October 14, 1939 in Atlantic, Iowa to Percy and Ethel (Daley) Heilig. Janet married Donovan Autey of Forest Lake in August of 1959 and they had six children together. She loved baking, shopping and decorating her homes. Her church and gospel music were very important to her and she would often begin singing a favorite hymn while you were visiting with her. She collected sunflower and chicken items with a passion and often gave them away to friends and family who loved them too. She always brought a smile for her friends and the staff at Ecumen.
