11/3/2017 1:35:00 PM Take advantage of a great deal, this weekend is filled with stuff to do
With the help of some wonderful community members, you and I can take advantage of a half price energy audit. Done through Xcel Energy, the audit normally runs $120, but with those members I spoke about, your cost is lowered to just $50. Xcel will come to your home or business and complete a thorough audit letting you know where you are losing money and where and how you can save money. Please go to chisago.cleanenergyhub.us to register. Act now, there are only so many audits available at the $50.
Thank you so much to the wonderful women and men who put on this year's Kids Outerwear Fair last week. Once again they served hundreds of families whose children will be warm this winter thanks to your donations and those great people who put together the fair. These folks put their hearts and souls into the fair with the only goal being to simply help families make it through the winter by keeping their children warm.
A few fun things to take in this weekend. Gustaf's Galleries is hosting a book signing for the Christmas book "A Puppy's Wish". Characters from the book will be on hand as well as the super-popular puppies will be on hand for pictures and adoring. The event runs Saturday from 1:30-3:30 pm - bring your camera.
The Chisago Lakes PTO Craft Fair runs this Saturday also. The fair will have tons (I mean tons) of vendors with great holiday ideas and goodies for purchase. There will be food and beverages available for purchase. The fair is held at the middle school and admission is free. It runs from 9 am to 4 pm.
This Sunday the Chisago Lakes Lions Club will hold their annual pancake/french toast breakfast. The meal consists of pancakes, french toast, eggs, meats, and a drink and of course great coffee. The meal is held at the Chisago Lakes High School cafeteria and will serve from 8 am until 12:30 pm. The Vikings are off, so you won’t miss them when you come to the brakfast.
