CJ's Bar and Grill ravaged by early morning blaze

Shortly after 4 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, a call came in reporting a fire at CJ's Bar and Grill in Palmdale.
Chisago County deputies, along with fire departments from Almelund, Shafer, Taylors Falls, Center City, North Branch and St. Croix Falls, WI, responded. It took firefighters several hours to extinguish the flames. There were no injuries reported.
The fire is being investigated by the Minnesota Fire Marhsal's Office, the Almelund Fire Department and the Chisago County Sheriff's Office.
On their Facebook page, the owners of CJ's said, "There are no words other than complete devastation. I think its safe to say we're closed. Thanks for the many years of wonderful memories."
