7/21/2022 10:48:00 AM Motorcyclist fatality reported in error
State Patrol is now reporting the 37- year-old Wyoming area man, who was first announced to have suffered fatal injury in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 8 Monday, July 18— is hospitalized.
The crash was reported about 5 p.m.
State Patrol’s early information was that the identity of the motorcyclist would be released after relatives had been notified. July 20 the crash information stated Joshua Mcgowan had suffered serious injury but is hospitalized.
Mcgowan was driving the motorcycle, a 2005 Suzuki, eastbound on Hwy 8 at 270th, when he crossed the centerline to pass apparently and collided with a westbound 2015 Nissan Altima. This vehicle was operated by Maia Alden, 18 of Lindstrom. She received non-life threatening injuries.
