KOD Ambassadors give back despite lack of celebrations
The Karl Oskar Days celebration in Lindstrom may be taking on a novel form this year, but the Lady Ambassadors are continuing the tradition of good works.  Friday, June 26 the current Ambassadors and candidates hosted a clothing drive, that was obvious in its success.  The young ladies pictured; were able to donate one truck and a large trailer load of shoes, clothes, and belts to the Salvation Army Distribution Center, Minneapolis.  The donations, when consolidated,  filled 10 large pallet-sized boxes, according to Coordinator for KO Days Pauline Hinsch.  This community’s generous donations will help many families...and the future leaders were able to receive a unique experience in humanitarianism.  Kark Oskar Days Ambassadors appreciate all this strong backing from the community.
