What's better than cake?
I have cake recipes for you, and the recipes come from a Bible cookbook. It is very interesting. In the Old Testament, cake was made different than breads. When Abraham told Sarah to make cakes upon the hearth (Genesis 18:6), he stipulated, “Make ready three measures of fine meal.”

Click bait? Not here, you can help make masks for SCRMC
What a week.... not going to delve into the negatives of the national problem - there is enough of that everywhere you turn.  I like to focus on the good.  Tell me my head is in the sand and I'm oblivious, I don't care.  For days I followed each and every latest breaking news any outlet would put out.  What did that get me? I'm pretty sure there was the beginning on an ulcer in my stomach and my sleep pattern was non-existent.  When I say that I focus on the good news it doesn't mean I ignore everything, I pay attention to the Governor because his pressers have an impact on all of us.  I read the synopsis of the President's pressers.  But just take a look on the internet and how the headline writers thrive on end-of-the-world headlines, being part of the media I am utterly and thoroughly disgusted.  This situation is as serious as it gets, but instilling fear achieves nothing - but clicks.

If the soup mood hits you
I don’t have to tell you that hopefully, the cold and snow of winter is past. I saved calendars back to 2009 or older, as I like to look back and see what was going on at this time a few years ago, such as high and low temperatures, grandkids sports activities, and in the winter, when it’s ICE OUT, printed with a bold pink marker. Ice fisherman of the north land... heads up! This is how it went... May 2 ‘13, (Can you believe that!) March 18, ‘12, (on March 19, it was 79 degrees and on March 26 it was 37 degrees.) April 12, ‘11, March 30, ‘10 (no snow at all in March) and March 6, ‘09. We’ll see what this year brings.
