Baker shines for Vikings at tri

North Branch Triangular
The Vikings hosted a triangular to open the season Thursday, December 1. They lost both duals: Brainerd 66, North Branch 6; Cambridge-Isanti 73, North Branch 3. Jack Baker (113) won both of his matches. He was the only Viking to score in each dual. Against Brainerd, Baker pinned Dossidy Fleishhacker at 4:00. And he won a 6-5 decision over Wyatt Wald of Cambridge-Isanti.

Wrestling Whangdoodles
Tonight, the Vikings will head to St. Francis High School to take on the Fighting Saints in a dual at 6 p.m. And on Saturday, they will wrestle in the Maple Grove Invitational at Maple Grove High School, with the festivities getting underway at 9 a.m.
