NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING A PROPOSED
BUSINESS SUBSIDY - Proposed Lindstrom Apartments
(January 31; February 7, 2019)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Lindstrom, County of Chisago, State of Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at approximately 7:00 p.m. at the City of Lindstrom Council Chambers in the Lindstrom City Hall,13292 Sylvan Avenue, Lindstrom, Minnesota. The public hearing will be held regarding a proposed business subsidy to be granted by the City to the proposed Lindstrom Apartments mixed use development (the “Project”) consisting of 92 apartments and a restaurant, under Minnesota Statutes, Section 116J.993 to 116J.995 (the “Business Subsidy Act”). The creation and retention of jobs is not a goal of the Project.
A summary of the terms of the business subsidy is available for inspection at City Hall, during regular business hours.
Any person with residence in the City or the owner of taxable property in the City may file a written complaint with the City. If the City fails to comply with the Business Subsidy Act, no action may be filed against the City for failure to comply unless a written complaint is filed.
All interested persons may appear at the hearing and present their views orally or prior to the meeting in writing.
