AN ORDINANCE APPROVING REZONING PID 02.00782.00
FROM A-O AGRICULTURE-OPEN SPACE TO R-1A SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
WHEREAS, on July 8, 2019, Mark Albrecht applied for a rezoning for the property as legally described as PID 02.00782.00; and
WHEREAS, the subject site was originally zoned A-O when it was annexed into the City in November 2018; and
WHEREAS, the applicant is proposing to rezone the property to R-1A; and
WHEREAS, on August 1, 2019, after published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota Statutes and the City Code, the Planning Commission, acting as the Board of Adjustment and Appeals, held a public hearing, at which time all persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and
WHEREAS, on August 1, 2019, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning; and
WHEREAS, the City has considered the proposed project as it might affect public health, safety, or welfare and found that the project will not negatively impact the public health, safety, or welfare; and
WHEREAS, the City Council studied the practicality of the request, taking into consideration the present and future development of the property and the requirements of the Zoning, Subdivision Ordinances, and other official controls.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINDSTROM, CHISAGO COUNTY, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Lindstrom Zoning Map is amended to zone the property with PID 02.00782.00 from A-O Agriculture-Open Space to R-1A Single-Family Residential.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective after publication.
Adopted by the City Council this 15th Day of August, 2019.
