ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS:
Corridor Lift Station
(November 7, 14, 2019)
Sealed Bids will be received by the Chisago Lakes Joint Sewage Treatment Commission at the Wastewater Treatment Facility, 31505 Lofton Avenue, Chisago City, Mn. 55013, at the WWTF office until 1 p.m., CST, Thursday, December 5, 2019. HAND DELIVER - DO NOT MAIL. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:
Corridor Lift Station Improvements:
This project is financed using a loan from the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority. Contractors shall comply with all loan requirements. Prevailing wages are required.
In general, the Project shall consist of the following major tasks for the Corridor Lift Station:
1 LS Modifications to existing lift station.
3 EA Remove and replace existing pumps.
3 EA Remove and install new check valves.
3 EA Remove and install new gate valves.
1 LS Install new control panel.
1 LS Install new flow meter.
1 LS Valve vault modifications.
1 LS Install new standby generator.
1 LS Temporary conveyance of wastewater.
60 TN Bituminous driveway pavement.
Along with miscellaneous site and utility improvements, removals, restoration and correlated appurtenances.

Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed
60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
The Commission is tentatively scheduled to consider award of a contract for this work at their regular meeting to be held on Monday, December 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the City of Lindstrom Council Chambers at 1392 Sylvan Avenue, Lindstrom MN 55045.
