AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM ON
THE USE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE BUILDING AND LANDS LOCATED WITHIN THE DESIGNATED AREA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on November 21, 2019, Ordinance No. 20191121-01 was adopted by the City Council of the City of Lindstrom, Minnesota.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature and attached maps of Ordinance No. 20191121-01, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the ordinance adopted by the City Council exercises the City of Lindstrom’s authority under Minn. Stat. § 462.358, subd. 1a to “extend the application of its subdivision regulations to unincorporated territory located within two miles of its limits in any direction but not in a town which has adopted subdivision regulations” by temporarily prohibiting changes of official controls, plats, and subdivisions for a Designated Area, which is the unincorporated territory located within two miles of the city limits of the City of Lindstrom, until August 1, 2020.
A printed copy of the whole ordinance is available for inspection by any person during the City’s regular office hours at the office of the City Administrator/City Clerk or on the City’s website.
