NOTICE OF INTENT FOR ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY TO A SANITARY DISTRICT
Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 442A
Notice is hereby given that the Shorewood Park Sanitary District Board has filed a petition with the Office of Administrative Hearings for annexation of property in Nessel Township to the Shorewood Park Sanitary District, pursuant to Minn. Stat § 442A.05 (2018).
The proposed annexation area is legally described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the easterly shore of Rush Lake and the North line of Government Lot 3, Section 11, Township 37, Range 22; thence East on the North line of said Government Lot 3 to the intersection with the centerline of County Road I; thence southerly along the centerline of said County Road I to its intersection with the North line of the South 1050 feet of Government Lot 4, Section 14, Township 37, Range 22; thence West along said line to the shore of Rush Lake and there terminating. All located in the County of Chisago, State of Minnesota.

The public has thirty (30) days from this publication date to submit written comments or to request a hearing on the petition. Submit all comments or requests for hearing to the Office of Administrative Hearings, Attn: Star Holman, PO Box 64620, St. Paul, MN 55164-0620 no later than 4:30 p.m. on January 13, 2020.
If fifty (50) or more requests for hearing are received before the end of the comment period on January 13, 2020, this matter will be set on for a hearing on the petition in accordance with the contested case provisions of Minnesota Statutes chapter 14 and any other applicable law. If fewer than fifty (50) timely requests for hearing are received during the comment period, a decision may be made on the petition without a hearing.
