CITY OF LINDSTROM PLANNING COMMISSION - NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

(July 23, 30, 2020)

THURSDAY, AUGUST 6, 2020
6:30 P.M.
LINDSTROM CITY HALL
13292 Sylvan Ave.,
Lindstrom, MN

Notice is hereby given that the City of Lindstrom Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 6, at 6:30 p.m. to seek comments regarding the proposed development of an 84-unit apartment building at 30055 Olinda Trail, which is generally located on the east side of Olinda Trail south of 300th Street. The requests to be considered include a comprehensive plan amendment to reguide the property to Multi-Family Residential, rezoning to R-3 high Density Residential, a vacation of the undeveloped, platted right-of-way and drainage and utility easements, a conditional use permit for a multiple-dwelling structure containing 12 or more units, a conditional use permit for a planned unit development in a shoreland district, and preliminary plat.

This meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at Lindstrom City Hall, at 13292 Sylvan Ave.  Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 13D.021, subd. 1, members of the public will not be permitted to enter the regular meeting location for this Planning Commission meeting scheduled on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. The City Administrator and Mayor have determined that permitting the public to enter the regular meeting location (Lindstrom City Hall) is not prudent because of the health pandemic involving COVID-19. Members of the public can still access and monitor the Planning Commission meeting electronically by livestreaming the meeting via the City’s website here: www.cityoflindstrom.us.

Interested parties are encouraged to attend remotely. Members of the public will be able to provide public comment to the Planning Commission remotely. In order to comment orally, members of the public may call 651-625-6071.

Written comments may be emailed to rita@hkgi.com or may be sent via mail to Lindstrom City Hall (13292 Sylvan Ave, Lindstrom, MN 55045) prior to the meeting on August 6, 2020. Both oral and written testimony will be considered at the time of the hearing. Copies of the application materials are available for viewing online on the city’s website.

John Olinger
City Administrator
