NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
(April 22, 2021)
In accordance with the Minnesota Open Meeting Law, the following Public Hearing Notice is provided for the Chisago County Planning Commission meeting to be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Planning Commission members will participate by telephone or other electronic means pursuant to MN Statute 13D. Due to the health pandemic and emergency declaration, those wishing to submit public comment in advance of the meeting may do so in the form of written public comment by mail to Chisago County Government Center or email to Land Services Coordinator, Jessica Jagoe at jessica. firstname.lastname@example.org by 4 p.m. on May 6, 2021. Individuals wishing to observe the meeting or provide public hearing comment during the meeting may do so by electronic means. Attendance at the meeting through the Call-in telephone number is available for listening purposes only. To attend the meeting via one of the formats available go to the Chisago County website under Planning Commission at www.chisagocounty.us/406/Planning-Commission to obtain access information to join or call 651-213-8379 for further instructions prior to 4 PM of meeting date. Chisago County Board of Commissioners will review applications on May 19, 2021. The Commission will also make a tour of the agenda items on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. departing from Public Works at 31325 Oasis Road, Center City, MN. PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA 7:00 P.M.
Kathleen Green – Kathleen Green is requesting a Conditional Use Permit for Recreational Camping to allow up to four private campsites on their property. The property is located east of Beach Road and north of 466th Street, Fish Lake Township; Sec. 10, T.36, R.22 (PID #03.01189.00).
Monte and Vicki Canfield - Property at 15432 310th Street, located north of County Road 37, Chisago Lake Township; Sec. 25, T.34, R.20, (PID #02.00726.00). Kelly Jordan, on behalf of property owners, Monte and Vicki Canfield, is seeking approval of a preliminary plat of three lots out of a 36 acre tract.
Craig and Debra Heggerston - Property at 16143 Furuby Road, Chisago Lake Township; Sec. 13, T.34, R.20, (PID #02.00546.00). Brody Heggerston, on behalf of property owners, Craig and Debra Heggerston, is seeking a Conditional Use Permit for Rural Retail Tourism to allow a gathering venue for events and weddings.
Tony Zerwas - Property at 41275 Peterson Ave, Amador Township; Sec. 1, T.35, R.20 (PID #01.00212.00). Bob Boyce, on behalf of Tony Zerwas - property owner, is seeking approval of a preliminary plat of four – five acre lots out of a 20 acre tract.
