NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Approval/denial of a variance
(July 22, 29, 2021)
The Chisago City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the next meeting on Thursday, August 5, 2021 to review and recommend approval/denial of a variance for the property located at 28678 Jocelyn Avenue. The property is zoned Low/Medium Residential (R-2) with no municipal water and sewer service the property would be considered RR2. The variance is to encroach within the setbacks of the Road Right of Way. The City’s zoning code requires septic systems to be 10 feet from the side yard setback and 10-foot setback from an occupied structure. The existing system has failed and is in need of replacement. A copy of the site plan is available for review at city hall.
The public hearing will commence at 6:35 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter and will be held at the City Hall, 10625 Railroad Avenue, Chisago City, MN. The public is welcome to attend and provide input.
