BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
(September 16, 2021)
The Chisago County Board of Adjustment will meet in its regular public hearing session on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the County Board Room lower level of the Chisago County Government Center in Center City. They will also make a tour of the agenda items on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. departing from Public Works at 31325 Oasis Road, Center City, MN. The following are the agenda items of new business:
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC HEARING 7:00 P.M.
Michael and Amy Barrera – Property at 1410 Brunswick Road, Fish Lake Township; Sec. 22, T.36, R.22, (PID# 03.00296.00). Michael and Amy Barrera are requesting a variance to build a detached accessory structure closer to the road and side property line than the required setbacks.
Joseph Stein – Property at 495 Herberg Road, Shafer Township; Sec. 35, T.34, R.19, (PID# 08.00370.10). Joseph Stein is requesting a variance to be exempted from the 300 feet of road frontage requirement for platted lots in the Agricultural Zoning District.
Donald and Ann Jones – Property at 34604 Redwing Avenue, Shafer Township; Sec. 8, T.34, R.19, (PID# 08.00083.10). Donald and Ann Jones are requesting a variance to expand an accessory building and adjust lean-to posts closer to the side property line than the required setbacks.
Keith Johnson – Property is located west of Oasis Road/County Road 9 and south of 375th Street, Sunrise Township; Sec. 28, T.35, R.20, (PID# 09.00303.10). Johnson CSG2, LLC/Gordian Energy Systems on behalf of Keith Johnson are requesting a variance to install a Community Solar Garden closer to the roads than the required setback.
John and Ana Bivans – 52295 Azalea Avenue, Nessel Township; Sec. 9, T. 37, R. 22, (PID# 06.01284.00). John and Ava Bivans are requesting a variance to install a holding tank closer to the road than the required setback.
