CITY OF STACY - ORDINANCE NUMBER 2022-5-5: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 151 OF THE CITY CODE §151.30 PRELIMINARY PLAT, §151.32 DATA REQUIREMENTS FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT

(May 19, 2022)

The City Council of the City of Stacy ordains that Chapter 151, Section 151.30 and 151.32 is amended by adding the underlined language and deleting the strikethrough language as follows:

SECTION 1.  Chapter 151, §151.30 (A)

(A) Request for subdivision approval shall be filed with the Clerk on an official application form. The application shall be accompanied by a fee as outlined in § 151.15. This fee shall not be refunded. In the case of a subdivision involving a plat, the application shall also be accompanied by 5 two standard plat sizes measuring 20x30, and two 11x17 copies, and digital file of the preliminary plat and in all cases a listing of the property owner and all property of record within 350 feet of the property in question. The Clerk shall refer the application and any preliminary plats to the Planning Commission for consideration at least 15 days before the next regular meeting. The applicant for subdivision shall enter into a preliminary agreement with the city to pay all engineering, planning, legal and administrative costs incurred by the city in reviewing the preliminary plat and shall place a deposit with the city in a non-interest bearing account sufficient to pay all said costs prior to commencement of review by the city.

SECTION 2.  Chapter 151, §151.32 (A)

(A) Identification and description.

(1) Proposed name of subdivision.

(2) Date and north point.

(3) Scale of plat, not less than 1 inch to 200 feet.

(4) Indication of any proposed covenants.

(5) Location map indicating location of proposed subdivision in relationship to general known area.

(6) Names and addresses of the subdivider and surveyor making plat and property owners of record within 350 feet of the proposed subdivision.

(7)(6) Legal description of proposed subdivision.

SECTION 3.  Effective Date.  This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and publication.

ADOPTED this 10th day of May, 2022, by the City Council of Stacy, Minnesota.
