NESSEL TOWNSHIP - ELECTION FILING NOTICE

(June 30; July 7, 2022)

Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Nessel Township, Chisago County, State of MN, that filing for Town Office will be held August 2, 2022 to August 16, 2022. On August 16, the Town Hall will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The last day to withdraw your filing is August 18, 2022 before 5:00 p.m.

Affidavits of candidacy need to be filed with the Town Clerk at the Township office located at 49205 Acacia Trail, Stanchfield, MN. Call 612-597-6108 to make an appointment. The filing fee is $2.00.

There are three Supervisor positions open, seats A & B both are 4-year terms and seat C is a 2-year term. Seat C was appointed in 2020 for a 2021-2022 term. Due to being appointed, it was for a 2-year term. Seat C will get back to a 4-year term 2025-2029.
