NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that bids for the construction of Sunrise Prairie Regional Trail will be received online through QuestCDN vBid™ until Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, representatives of Chisago County will publicly view bids at the office of the Clerk of the Board, 313 North Main Street, Suite 106A, Center City, MN 55012. The as-read online bid results will be available at www.questcdn.com following the bid opening.
The Project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities:
- 3.7 ACRE Clearing and Grubbing
- 750 SY Remove Bituminous Pavement
- 8,200 CY Excavation – Common (P)
- 17,300 CY Common Embankment (CV) (P)
- 19,400 SY Subgrade Preparation (P)
- 3,400 CY Aggregate Base (CV) Class 5 (P)
- 2,900 TON Type SP 9.5 Wearing Course Mix (2,B)
- 500 TON Type SP 12.5 Non Wear Course Mix (3,C)
- 900 LF 12” - 18” CS Pipe Culvert
- 200 LF 12” - 24” RC Pipe Culvert
- 5 LF Construct Drainage Structure Des 48-4020
- 3,650 SF 6” Concrete Walk
- 1,010 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter Design B424
- 1,200 LF Wire Fence Design 42V-9322
- 1 LS Traffic Control
- 105 SF Sign
- 1 SYS Pedestrian Crosswalk Flasher System
- 7.8 ACRE Seeding
- 630 LF 4” Solid Line Paint
The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of Chisago County shall comply with the provisions of the statute.
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at www.questcdn.com. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the website for a nonrefundable fee of $45 by inputting Quest project number 8353909 on the website’s Project Search page.
The website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the website www.questcdn.com. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from other sources.
Bids will only be accepted via the electronic bidding service through QuestCDN. NO HARD COPY BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
The County Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
