The Chisago City Planning Commission will hold a reconsideration of a public hearing on Thursday, February 2, 2023 to review and approve/deny a proposed Preliminary Plat Subdivision for a Shoreland Planned Unit Development (SLOD PUD) located at 29425 Karmel Ave. (PIDs: #13.00073.00 and 13.00075.00). The proposed development is for single-family detached villa townhome residential development named Lake Martha Overlook. The property is currently zoned Park/Open Space (PSP-OS) with a proposed request to rezone to Medium Density Residential (R-3) District. The proposed development is requesting variances for multiple front yard, side yard, rear yard and corner side yard setbacks., overall impervious surface area, controlled access lot, lot widths, lot size and tree plan. The proposed development will be reviewed as a Shoreland PUD/Preliminary Plat under the City Zoning Ordinance 4.5.2, 4.7.3 and Municipal Code Subdivision Ordinance Chapter 50. A copy of the site plan is available for review at city hall.
This public hearing will commence at 6:35 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter and will be held at the City Hall, 10625 Railroad Avenue, Chisago City, MN 55013.
