Chisago Lakes School District names semifinalists for superintendent search

The Chisago Lakes School Board has selected eight semifinalists to interview for the school district’s superintendent position. The semifinalists are:
Craig Anderson, Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, St.Paul Public Schools
Dr. Randal Bergquist, Superintendent, Osakis Schools
Dr. William Campbell, Assistant Superintendent, Elk River Schools
Brian Dietz, Superintendent, Walker, Hackensack, Akeley Schools
Dr. David Grambow, Assistant Superintendent, Hudson WI Schools
Malinda Lansfeldt, Elementary Principal, Stillwater Schools
James Smokrovich, Principal East Ridge High School, South Washington County Schools
Brent Stavig, Superintendent, Rush City Schools
The finalists were selected from a pool of 15 applicants based on criteria established by the school board.
The school board has scheduled interviews for the semifinalists beginning at 5:00 pm on March 21 and 22, 2023.
All interviews will be held at the 29678 Karmel Ave., Chisago City, MN and are open to the public.
