April 11 an adult female was transported to Wyoming acute care center by Lakes Region EMS ambulance after an ATV crash, reported about 5:45 p.m.  Incident was on Olson Road, Sunrise Township.

Citizens called in a possible pipe bomb on Lent Trail about 1 p.m.  Deputy responding checked it out and reports it was just an empty length of pipe.  Chisago County  has had a couple of pipe bomb reports in the recent past which required the metro bomb squad to become involved so people are sensitive to the appearance of pipe objects.

April 10 Lakes Area Police and deputies apprehended and tested and jailed a female driver whose vehicle was being operated in an erratic manner. A caller complained of the conduct about 7 p.m. when encountering the vehicle north of Center City on Furuby Road.

A party shooting firearms around 5 p.m. in the area of Maxwell and Morgan Ave, south  of Lindstrom, was warned to halt firing due to multiple safety issues.  The deputy observed the use of firearms was well within the 300 foot distance required from dwellings, there was no backstop to impede the spent bullets and other issues.

A grass fire in Lent on 311th Street was extinguished by DNR personnel. The property owner will get a bill.  Fire was reported about 2:30 p.m.

April 8 Theft from the Stacy Self Storage. MinnKota trolling motor and other items missing.  Lock was cut.

Deputies made three juvenile arrests in connection with a spree of mailbox destruction in the Shafer area, reported over the past several days. This call was in connection with mailboxes in Redfield and Ridgewood neighborhoods, and ATV tracks were the key to locating the suspects.  A call received immediately after explosions in mailboxes led to the hot pursuit.

April 7 A private party on Hazel in Taylors Falls was ordered by a deputy to extinguish a fire that allegedly contained illegal products like drywall and flooring. The person refused and was cited. Incident happened around 4 p.m.
