The Sheriff’s Office reports a 51-year-old male died in a motorcycle crash Sunday, June 6. The emergency communications center took a call at 9:05 p.m. of a motorcycle in a ditch at Jess Avenue and Sunrise Road in Harris.

The driver and sole occupant was found deceased. Relatives are being notified and authorities will release the identity of the victim later.

The crash is under investigation, and according to a sheriff’s press release it appears the motorcyclist was going west on Sunrise Road when it left the road and crashed into the ditch. North Branch Police and Lakes Region were also at the scene.
