Many warning tickets are being written for overnight street parking in cities with ordinances restricting on-street parking. From now to April most city areas have on-street parking prohibitions, check with your local jurisdiction.

Two incidents where county patrol squads were nearly sideswiped by suspected drunk drivers, in the Lindstrom area on Highway 8. Both drivers arrested.
A large fire reported about 5:30 p.m. on Iris Avenue in Chisago-Wyoming area. Authorities found a permit and precautions being addressed.

Pursuit involving a number of agencies originated on Pleasant Valley Road, at Highway 8, on traffic stop by deputy. Authorities observed narcotics and gun but driver fled. The state patrol helicopter and Forest Lake Police assisted in the 2 a.m. pursuit incident that went into Wisconsin briefly until car was stopped in Washington County. A 36-year-old Pine City woman was arrested on charges of possessing meth being a felon with a firearm and she had warrants.
A gas pump at Kwik Trip in Rush City was damaged when a vehicle struck it.
Greenhouse in Rush City was entered and plants damaged. Incident happened sometime over three days.
Person stuck in elevator in Chisago City, 282nd Street address. Firefighters extricated about 12:30. p.m.
A crash at Olinda and 288th Street involving two vehicles sent one to the hospital by ambulance and one was transported by private car. The accident was reported about 10 a.m. Early details are the one car was turning left off 288th to go onto Olinda and collided with a southbound car on Olinda. An 88 year old male driver was cited for fail to yield.
Lakes Area Police cited a male juvenile for snowmobiling in a city park area, observed about 9:45 a.m.
A vehicle crashed into a yard at an address on Machmeier Court about 8:54 p.m. Driver taken in on suspicion of driving under influence. No injuries but lawn was torn up.
