There were no Law Enforcement reports in the Press for Jan 26. The following includes bookings back to Jan. 9 and some of the more major calls. The gaps were due to circumstances outside the paper’s control. We are back up to date.
SWAT was asked to assist at two incidents January 18. One was successfully apprehending a warrant suspect at Lakeview Motel in Lindstrom. They were on scene approximately 7:40 p.m. The second call-out was around noon to arrest someone sought for fleeing authorities, who was at a home on Evergreen Trail. Suspect was detained without incident.
January 23
Sheriff patrol apprehended a male suspect in a burglary at the Taylors Falls Methodist Church. Burglary incident was reported about 9:45 p.m.
January 24
Lakes Area Police were advised a Chihuahua male dog is missing from an addess in Lindstrom.
Male, 18, cited for violating a school bus stop arm. Incident happened on Old Towne in Chisago City.
Parking overnight is not allowed on city streets until April. Multiple citations were written for illegal parking.
January 25
A burglary reported in Chisago Lake Townsip about 3 p.m. Officers found plastic tubs filled with items seemingly to be loaded up, and a handgun is missing.
