 | Law enforcement agencies attended a number of Night to Unite events August 2. The national night out spirit continues— with some locations holding picnics and programs August 16. There is more than one night of the neighborhood parties due to availability issues with emergency teams, K9 units and others in demand for demonstrations.

The main street in Taylors Falls was the scene of two minor crash reports this past weekend. The first was at 1:45 p.m. when a car pulled out of a parking spot and hit the side of a car in traffic. A second accident at 4:47 p.m. also was another swipe incident with no injuries.

Motorcyclist fatality
July 25 a North Branch man on his 2006 Harley Davidson Cruiser reportedly lost control and crashed into a ditch, losing his life on I-35 in Forest Lake. The call came in about 5:30 p.m. State Patrol identifies the victim as Sky Patrick O’Neil, 45. He was northbound on the freeway and had just passed Hwy. 97.

| | Law Enforcement | July 17 a female was interviewed and claimed she was assaulted, near the Chisago House in Taylors Falls about 5 a.m. Sheriff patrol reportedly located the described suspect at Interstate Park. An update is pending.

July 10 Sunday around 3:30 a.m. if you noticed K9 dog units in and around the civic complex at North Branch (fire hall/library) they were running exercises for tracking. The mile long route is set up on public property.
