Incidents
Sheriff’s deputies received a complaint early Wednesday last week, of a man making threats over a Facebook page who had allegedly shown up at the home of the person receiving the messages and was armed.  The complainant said he saw a long gun inside the car the suspect was driving, with the muzzle tipped up out the window.  The incident happened at an address on 420th near Harder Avenue, about 2:29 a.m.  A drone unit was deployed to locate the alleged suspect by air but was unsuccessful at spotting anything on trails near the home.

Law Enforcement
Law enforcement across the county responded to dozens of fireworks complaint calls.  The incidents were mostly handled by halting illegal displays amicably and/or giving out warnings. A couple incidents resulted in tickets.  Some of the fireworks were shot off from pontoon boats in the middle of a lake, and it was impossible to identify those responsible.
