The first big snowfall of the season brought a number of vehicles sporting overnight parking tickets from police and sheriff personnel, enforcing on-street parking violations throughout the county. Tickets went out in Rush City to Chisago City and in some cases warnings were written. There is no overnight parking on city streets until April. Plow truck drivers need to have an unobstructed roadway to plow. If you have guests who need parking space or a special circumstance contact your local law enforcement authority.
