Noah J. Rockenback, age 22 of Center City, Minnesota, passed away on January 10, 2018. Noah was born on February 2, 1995 in Chisago City, Minnesota to parents John and Michelle Rockenback. He graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 2013. He was an active member of Robotics, National Honor Society, Cross Country and Swimming. He was a lifeguard and taught swimming lessons at the Chisago Lakes Community Pool. He attended North Dakota State University as a Computer Science major and was active in ROTC as an Air Force Cadet, Detachment 610 Eagle Wing One.
Noah enjoyed skiing out West, long distance running and playing games. He was quick with a smile, had a sense of adventure and was always eager to help. Noah loved learning, especially about history and geography. He touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed.
Noah is preceded in death by his grandfather Fred Rockenback and uncle William Rockenback.
He is survived by his parents John and Michelle Rockenback; brother Nickolas; grandparents Eugene and Lynette Hess, and Beverly Rockenback; aunts and uncles Diana (Joan) Bowers, Brian Hess, Vicki (David) Sprowls, Michael (Rebecca) Rockenback, Don Rockenback, and Steve Rockenback; and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, Minnesota. A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at church. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
