She enjoyed her career as a nurse, and worked at the Chisago Lakes Hospital, then spent the majority of her nursing career working at Parmly, Green Acres and then retired from The Villages of North Branch, in 2011. Hilde loved gardening, casino trips with her girlfriends and of course spending time with her two grandkids. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending winters in Florida and traveling around Europe with Jim.
Hilde is survived by her husband Jim; two children Gabrielle Menne and Michael, and her two grandkids, Alexander and Helen Menne; brother Jacob (Katherine) Strapko of Balingen, Germany and many nieces and nephews.
