Brian Miller

Brian Anthony Miller, age 59 of Lindstrom, MN.  Born on November 8, 1961 in Fairmont, MN.  The son of Mike and Rose (Werner) Miller. Brian passed away peacefully in Minneapolis, MN with family by his side January 30, 2021.

Brian graduated from Osage High School in 1980 and later attended Minneapolis Drafting School.  Brian loved and served his country in the United States Navy from 1982-1988, last stationed at NAF, El Centro, CA.  Brian had a passion for being in the great outdoors fishing and hunting.  While growing up Brian and the Miller family shared many fish frys and memories together, with family and friends at Ole’s Resort on Big Sandy Lake.  Brian was a special friend to so many. He would give you the shirt off of his back and the food off of his table. He truly had a heart of gold and would drop anything to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Brian had spent the last 20 plus years working for Martin Brower. Brian took great pride being a front line essential worker during the pandemic.

Brian was a loving father, grandfather and brother.  Brian is survived by his daughter Jasmin Perron and husband Joseph, and grandchildren: Aiden, Zoey, Eliza and Lydia of Lindstrom, MN.  Also survived by his brothers Michael Miller and wife Angie of Oak Grove, MN, and their sons Mitch and Sean; Neil Miller of Osage, IA; Chris Miller, and wife Lisa and their children, Morgan and Levi of Farmington, MN.  Brian was preceded in death by his parents Mike and Rose (Werner) Miller, grandparents Patrick and Amelia Miller, and Marvin and Hazel Werner.

Memorial Service to Celebrate Brian at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 11 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN.  Dinner following the service will be held at the Shafer Saloon, Shafer, MN.  Funeral and final interment 1 p.m. Saturday, March 13 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont, MN.  *Please note Masks are mandatory during both services.
Flowers and memorials may be sent to Grandstrand Funeral Home, 11900 Lake Lane North, Lindstrom, MN 55045.  (651) 257-4000
