Jacob Nase

Jacob Gregory Nase, age 28, died unexpectedly at home on September 11, 2021 after a long battle with addiction.

Jake was born on December 16, 1992 to Jim and Gloria Nase. He attended Chisago Lakes High School where he played football and fulfilled his passion for wrestling, where he earned many awards and medals and made it all the way to State in his final year of school.  He graduated with the Class of 2011.

Jake really loved to be with his family.  He was dad's sidekick and really enjoyed cooking with mom. He loved doing just about anything with his big brother, Mike, "kickin it" with sister, Jodi and was the best uncle to Mark and Mariana. Jake really loved his little sister, Madelynn. They spent so much time together and shared a very special bond, one that will never be broken.  Jake was so excited and proud to be daddy to his beautiful little girl, Aria.  This summer Jake was able to cross a big item off of his bucket list when he went deep sea fishing in Florida and caught a 120 pound shark.  Jake had such an infectious smile and the best laugh.  He had the best friends and loved to hang out at any opportunity.

Jake is survived by his parents, Jim and Gloria Nase, brother Mike, sisters Madelynn and Jodi, grandmothers Helen Wettschreck and Diane Struck and his precious daughter, Aria Rose.  Also many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people,
A heart that forgives the worst,
A mind that forgets the bad,
And a soul that never loses faith in God.

Funeral Services will be held at noon Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minnesota with visitation from 10 a.m. – noon.  Interment at Kahbakong Cemetery in Taylors Falls, Minnesota. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com
