Myrna Madison

Born Myrna Jane Buhl on July 19, 1940. Died September 29, 2021 in Saint Croix Falls, WI. Survived by her loving husband and life partner of 67 years Wayne; daughter Wendy; brother John; grandson Nicholas; and granddaughter Theresa. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Eleanor; brother, Jerry; sisters, Marlene and Margie; and son Scott.

Myrna loved her family deeply. She and Wayne enjoyed traveling. Together, they visited all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Myrna went to London twice. As a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and canning. Her hobbies included watching NASCAR races and British television. Myrna was a talented artist especially in drawing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and making pottery. She had a green thumb as a gardener. She enjoyed dancing, fly fishing, and living near the water.

For more than 20 years, Myrna and Wayne owned the Superior Antique and Art Depot in Superior, WI, building on a lifelong interest in attending auctions and collecting antiques. They also operated several other successful businesses in the Chisago Lakes Area. Myrna previously worked at Plastic Products and at Univac. Her first job was as a proof reader for West Publishing in Minneapolis, where she earned $1 per hour, while still attending Marshall High School.Myrna will be missed by her entire family including many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She also leaves behind a multitude of friends. Her final resting place is Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. She requested no funeral. Where there is love there is peace.
