James H. Jordal, age 92, formerly of Center City, passed away at Havenwood of Minnetonka on May 21, 2022. He was preceded in death by wife Mary Bury Jordal, and grandson Adam James Vernes. He is survived by children Barbara (Richard) Vernes, son David (Jane), and son Daniel. He also leaves six grandchildren: Joshua Jordal, Ashley Vernes Cardona (Ivan), Alan Jordal, Natalie Jordal, Benjamin Vernes, and Anthony Jordal; two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Ruby.
A memorial service for Jim will be held at Trinity Lutheran in Lindstrom Saturday, June 4 at 11am, with a visitation hour preceding the service at 10am. Grandstrand Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hazelden Betty Ford Treatment Center in Center City, Minn. is preferred.
Jim leaves an enormous space no one else can fill in all our lives, and will be missed every time there is joy to share, a spectacular sight, and a need to be filled.
