Theodore “Big Ted” Strauch Sr., age 85, of Stacy, loving Husband, Dad and Papa, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2022.
Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Ludina; siblings, Anita Skoog, Louis, Vera, Walter, Elaine Havlik, Doris. Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Eleanor; children, Teddy Jr. (Kathy), Connie (Ken) Pederson, Thomas; grandchildren, Joe (Brittany), Jared (Rachel), Julia, Megan, Rachel, Sarah, Ben; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ted grew up in Hillman, MN and farmed there for 40 years. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 37 years. He and Eleanor were active members of the Stacy Lions Club for 20-plus years.
Memorial service 12 p.m. Saturday, August 20 with a Celebration of Life Gathering from 1-4 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31075 Genesis Ave., Stacy. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family, to be donated in Ted’s honor.
