Vernon Mollan
Vern Mollan, May 15, 1930 - April 21, 2021,  passed away at his home on April 21, 2021, surrounded by family and song. Born May 15, 1930 in Duluth, Minnesota to Emil and Amanda (Stordahl) Mollan, Vern grew up in South Minneapolis, graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1948 and served in the Naval Reserves. In 1950 he was named Apprentice Of The Year by Dunwoody Industrial Institute. In his acceptance speech he said, “Always finish a job. The second half may be more important than the first.” Vern’s career grew from electrician (I.B.E.W.), to estimator, to project manager for several electrical firms.

James “Jim” Martin Lunde, age 71, of Lindstrom, Minnesota, died peacefully on April 21, 2021 surrounded by family at Divine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Jim Lunde was born May 26, 1949 at the old hospital in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to Willard Woodrow Lunde and Maryann Elaine (Tuvey) Lunde.

Roger Hagstrom
Roger James Hagstrom was born October 26, 1929 to Theodore and Esther (Gustafson) Hagstrom. He graduated from Lindstrom-Center City High School in 1947. He later joined the Army and was stationed in Greenland. After his discharge, he attended St Cloud State University, where he played baseball and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education. In 1955, he married the love of his life, Rita, and they were blessed with six children. His first teaching job was in Baudette, MN, where he taught and coached and made many friends. They then moved to Pine City, where he taught 8th grade Geography and then later Senior High Physical Education.

Richard Dale Hoogheem, age 74, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on April 13, 2021 following a 22 year battle with cancer. Rich was born June 28, 1946 in Willmar, MN to Dick and Elsie Hoogheem. The family later moved to St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood where Rich and his sister, Janet, were raised. After graduating from Wilson High School in 1964, Rich was drafted during the Vietnam war, completed basic training at US Army Training Center Fort Leonard Hood, Missouri and was stationed in Schweinfurt Germany. While on a short leave, he married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Bailey, on his birthday in 1967.

Anita R. (Hiltonen) Wiemeri, age 82, of RosePointe Senior Living, Roseville, passed away peacefully, February 25, 2021.   She was born October 6, 1938 in Hancock, MI to the late William and Julia Hiltonen. She married Ronald Wiemeri in Ironwood Michigan in 1959.  Anita was a 1956 graduate of LL Wright High School, Ironwood, MI. In 1958 she was a graduate of Spencerian Business College, Milwaukee, WI.  While living in Duluth, she received her BS BusEd from University of Minnesota – Duluth in 1972.  She also instructed at the Duluth Business University, Duluth, MN for four years. Moving to Owatonna she was an instructor for 14 years at University of Minnesota - Waseca.  While in Owatonna Anita volunteered eight years of her time to the food shelf.

She worked selling real estate and was involved in many activities with her church and community through the years.    Dona was fiercely independent with her own style in everything she did.

Randolph “Randy” Weyhrauch, age 68, of Lindstrom, MN, passed away surrounded by family on February 19, 2021. He was born March 8, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN.  He was a loving husband, father, son and brother.  Randy was known for his booming laughter, his genuine care for people, and most importantly his love for our Lord Jesus. In his presence, you were always entertained with a great story and much laughter.  Heaven is gaining a joyful angel and he will be missed here on Earth.
