June Marie (Behrens) Alden, age 66 of Chisago City, left us unexpectedly to be with the Lord on May 23, 2011. June was born on June 5, 1944 in Fairmont, Minnesota. June enjoyed cooking (especially watching the cooking channel), gardening, canning, Sudoku, crosswords, puzzles, and visiting with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd Behrens and Georgia Stockdill. June is survived by husband Kent C. Alden; children Richard Gillert (Jean Laging) of Minneapolis, Deborah Meier (Tony Kornfeind) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Corey (AnneMarie) Alden of Ames, Iowa, Casey (Michelle) Alden of ames, IA; sisters Jeanne Galvan of Forest Lake, Judy (Ron) Anderson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bunny (Bob) Meredith of Vernon, Arizona, brother Lloyd Michael (Angel) Behrens of Perris, California; grandchildren Tonya (Jason) Schmitz, Luke (Sarah) Meier, Maria (Cody) Robinson, Makayla Spetzman, Katelyn Alden, J.D. Alden, Emma Alden, and Ava Alden; great grandchildren Sam Schmitz, Maryn Meier, Haiken Meier, Jarrett Meier, Alexa Robinson and Serenity Robinson. At June's request, no service will be planned.
