Charlotte J. Schoen, age 77 of Lindstrom died on Thursday, February 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.  Char was born on July 19, 1938 in Taylors Falls, Minnesota to parents John and Florence (Olson) Gustafson.  She graduated from Taylors Falls High School in 1956.  She married John F. Schoen on October 25, 1958 at St. Rose of Lima in Massapequa, New York.  Char was a home day care provider for over 10 years and was a dietician at the Margaret Parmly Residence for over 25 years.  She loved her family, friends, traveling and especially her pets.

Char is preceded in death by husband John; sister Donna Chartrand and parents John and Florence Gustafson.  She is survived by her children Pat (Cathy) Schoen, Pamela (Dan) Davey, and Paulie (Roy) Hardwick; grandchildren Derek (Ashley) Schoen, Tom (Jackie) Schoen, Logan and Madison Davey, John (Amanda) Parsons, and Hannah Hardwick; great grandchildren Austin and Alexandra Schoen, and Jack Parsons; sister Bev Johnson, brother Mike (Barb) Gustafson, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
 
Memorial Service 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, MN.  Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 26, at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN and one hour prior to the service at church.
