Greg took great pride in being from NE Minneapolis. After graduating from Edison High School in 1968, he earned his B.A. in History from U of MN. Greg began his insurance industry career in 1975 at Ekblad, Pardee and Bewell, Inc. of St. Paul. In 1983, he started his 33 year tenure at First Service Insurance Agency in Wyoming, MN where he later became co-owner.
One of his greatest passions was helping others. Greg was active on the Wyoming City Council, civic commission roles, Fairview Lakes Hospital Board, volunteering, and could always be counted on to wear a red suit and play Santa during the holiday season. Greg served 42 years between the Arcana Lodge #187 and Hiram Lodge #287, while being a coinciding member of York Rite Masons, Zuhrah Shrine Temple, and the Zuhrah Shrine Ceremonial Unit.
Many will remember Greg for his sense of humor as he always had a joke to share; he was a generous, caring, and loving man. Greg enjoyed family and friends, traveling, golfing, reading, and playing cards. Above all else, Greg's greatest joy was his children. He was their biggest fan; never missing a sporting or school event.
