John R. Palmer passed away peacefully at his home in Arizona on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the age of 66. 

John was born in Minnesota and graduated from St. Croix Lutheran High School.  He was an accomplished Salesman who worked for many years at NSP in St. Paul, MN.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing with a passion for bowhunting.  

He is preceded in death by both his father and mother; Roman and Ellen Palmer. He is survived by two daughters: Amy (Ben) Hofschulte and April Nystrom (James Alicea), three grandchildren: Jacob, Kayla and Hanna, three siblings; Paul, Patricia and Lorna, and nieces and nephews.  John was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He will be greatly missed by many. Gathering to be held in September.
