Little Crow was awarded two trophies for the special awards during the national tournament. The Highest Scoring Act of the tournament was won with Little Crow’s 5-high pyramid. The pyramid was brought through the show course and returned to the stage without any falls. Only two teams in the tournament attempted the act. In addition, the Highest Scoring Ballet Line award went to the Little Crow 25-member danceline which was the largest in the tourney. The Little Crow ballet line performed on the water and on stage.
That was just the beginning. Swivel skiing, strap doubles, and jump team competitions also took place. Little Crow captured the National Championship in the Team Jumping competition, scoring 386 points, narrowly edging out the Rock Aqua Jays Jumpers by two points. Jump team members include Dan Olson, Travis Reich, Jared Swenson, Jay Donner, Josh Bruns, Nick Dahlen, Logan Asche, Kyle Reich, Justin Zylstra, Ryan Marcus and Cole Lundberg.
The Little Crow Jumpers range in age from 13-24 years old, making them the youngest team in the competition. They have now won the individual Team Jump award three out of the past four years.
Meanwhile, Ann Bruckner placed 11 in the swivel competition, and Little Crow partners Greg Hedman and Stacy Boesch finished 10 in doubles.
