Christmas is just around the corner and if you are like me, there is plenty of shopping left to do. In fact today, I stopped at some of our local stores to hopefully find something for my grandmother. Keep in mind how difficult she is to buy for, but in my second store low and behold I found that gift, the one I know she will truly enjoy. I guess what I am trying to say that you are free to spend your money wherever you want, but please check out some of the wonderful stores we have here in our area. I am not kidding, you won’t believe how many great present ideas there are available to you right in your backyard.
As Christmas nears we need to remember those among us who are less fortunate. This year I ask you to please make a contribution to the local food shelves. We can really make a difference if we just give a little. I also will be making a trip to “Toys for Tots” before Christmas and you are welcome to drop off your toy here at the Press if you can’t make it to a drop site. Let’s make this a great Christmas for everyone.
Here is a little tip if you are looking for a great place to meet a friend. Break on 8 in Lindstrom is that place. Liz has decorated this house beautifully and you won’t believe your nose when you enter. You can get any coffee, espresso or tea made just the way you like it. There are so many tasty items on the menu, you’re bound to find something you love. My favorite is the turkey bagel with all the fixings. I’m sure you have heard people talk about Break on 8, go see what they are raving about.
