For over seven years the VFW Post 4210 in Forest Lake has employed persons from the Chisago Lakes Achievement Center. The CLAC provides services to persons with physical or developmental disabilities.

Thursday, Dec. 16 the VFW honored one of their longest serving, most dedicated employees from CLAC, John Flakne. For nearly seven years Flakne has provided his services to the VFW, he has shared his friendship and has become part of the VFW family.

Keith Hegstrom, general manager, and Bill Olson, VFW Commander presented Flakne with a Certificate of Achievement and a beautiful leather jacket boasting an American flag on the back. A very surprised and grateful Flakne accepted his award. Flakne looks forward in providing his services to his extended family at the VFW Post 4210 for many more years.
