Chisago Lakes 91.5

Last Tuesday, the Chisago Lakes swimming and diving team kept their winning streak going by defeating Princeton 91.5-76.5. Since the section true team meet, the ‘Cats have now won three dual meets in a row.

As they typically do, Chisago Lakes started fast and furious with wins in the 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle, and 200 I-M, building a 33-12 win. Emily Stein and Emily Merritt then built on that lead by taking first and second in the 50 freestyle, pushing the Wildcat lead to 27.

The ‘Cats were far from finished. After Erica Greene kept her undefeated record alive in diving, taking first overall, the Wildcats finished the meet by placing first in each of the final seven races. The final four events were swam as exhibition.

When it was all said and done, the ‘Cats had won all three relay races, while individually, seven different Wildcats grabbed a first place finish, including Lauren Koch and Emily Stein. They both placed first in two events.
