Harry Finholdt
He was the son of Ed and Ida (Juve) Finholdt. He was born November 22, 1916, in Decorah, Iowa.
He worked as an installer in the floor covering business and also served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a very loving husband and father.
He married Irene Johnson, January 28, 1950 in St. Paul, Minn.
He is survived by wife, Irene of Hastings; children, Carole Madsen of White Bear Lake; Craig Finholdt of Forest Lake; Dawn Finholdt of Hastings; and Kim (Steve) Kral of Chisago City; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Funeral service was Saturday, December 17, 10 a.m. at St. Philip’s Lutheran Church in Hastings, with Rev. Ed Frederickson officiating.
Interment at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings with military honors provided by the Hastings VFW.
Pall bearers: Clayton Edstrom; Craig Edstrom; Cale Edstrom; Brandon Johnson; Kevin Madsen; Ty Madsen.
Ellis-Wise Funeral Home, Hastings, handled arrangements.
