Author Jane Yolen (photo) is expected as a guest of honor for the Grand Opening of the Chisago Lakes Area Library, a county branch of the East Central Regional Library system. The events begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 14 with a ribbon-cutting.

There will be refreshments, music starting at noon and more.

The public is encouraged to attend all or part of the day’s festivities. Meet new librarian Heidi Berg and staff members Ann Doble, Kathie Evingson and Laura Anderson.
