Stephanie Salzman, Wyoming Area Library Society co-chair, presented a check for $20,000 to the ECRL Board for the purchase of library materials for their new 10,000 square foot library. The library is scheduled to open the Fall of 2005.

Library staff will purchase a variety of materials during the next six months. The materials will be ready for the shelves when the new library building opens. Plans are also underway to survey area residents about future library hours at the new building.

During the construction phase, the ECRL bookmobile will continue to stop at a number of Wyoming locations. The bookmobile is at Wyoming City Hall every Thursday evening from 5:30-7 p.m. For other locations call the ECRL headquarters in Cambridge at 763-689-7390, ext. 10.

The Wyoming Library will become the newest branch in the East Central Regional Library system. The ECRL system is made up of 12 other branches, the headquarters library in Cambridge and a bookmobile.
