Boys from Chisago Lakes Cub Scout Pack 127 wanted to help children who were orphaned due to the tsunami that devastated Southeast Asia. The boys dipped into their piggy banks and came up with $150. Together with a contribution from Pack 127, the donation will be given to the American Red Cross.

In other Pack activity, Webelos Den 1 visited the Chisago County Press this week as part of a requirement for earning their Communication Achievement Award. They saw how the newspaper was put together.

The boys are 4th graders and will receive their Webelos badges at the Pack’s annual Blue and Gold Banquet held at the Chisago Community Center Feb. 13.
